Anorak Magazine - The Happy App is coming to iPad around the time of the iPad launch. The well received iPhone/iPod Touch application has been redesigned and rebuilt to include iPad support.

And it isn't just new iPad owners who should be getting excited by this news... existing iPhone/iPod Touch users will feel the benefit of an app update that will include more stories, game enhancements, extra games, more drawing and colouring tasks and some other fun new features.

The long awaited update to Touch Cricket is now in full swing including integration with Open Feint for loaderboards, achievements and challenges.

If ever a game would work well with Open Feint surely it would be Touch Cricket. Imagine seeing your batting average matched with your friends, and globally. Imagine challenging your friends to a quick Twenty20 and seeing your results tally.

As well as Open Feint the big change for the new update is Career mode. Gone is the quick play option from the previous version, instead you begin playing for your club side and have to work your way up through first class and then internation levels. The bowling gets tougher with each step up you make and should your performance drop... you can get demoted to the previous level.. having to prove yourself all over again.

Throw in new graphics and funky new transitions between menu items and it adds up to a great new version of Touch Cricket... coming in time for the summer Cricket.
